…is coming to the Rio Theatre on Saturday June 26th. I saw the poster. I got excited. Headlining is Jamie DeWolfe. According to the blurb on the Rio website, he was banned from performing at local open mics and vengefully created “Tourettes Without Regrets” in 1999 to showcase the cutting edge of underground performance. And, I assume to maintain regular personal access to a mic.
This could be an amazing show. It could, also, suck. You never know. But one of the best things for me about being in Vancouver instead of at a firetower in northern Alberta for 4-5 months at a stretch, is the opportunity to 1) see the kickass spoken word show poster and 2) corral someone hot into going with you.
Because it could be amazing.
