lisa is no run-of-the-mill queer political spoken word poet. Her poetry is articulate, passionate, occasionally raunchy, and frequently very funny. There is a gentle patience amidst an urgent fire in her which makes for a powerful and accessible performance and message. She’s performed across Canada, down the American west coast and across Britain and Europe.
